Music group Kotak demonstrated their capacity in the music world. The band with Tantri, Chua and Cella as the members was busy with all the plans forward.

The latest is of course the joint project of Cantata Barock that is staffed by the names of senior musicians like Setiawan Djody, Iwan Fals, and Sawung Jabo. Besides that, Kotak is also preparing for a concert opening for Simple Plan.

“So far we run it all before. Planning-planning that we have run it, for now we focus on Takwa Cantata,” Cella said Setiawan Djody met at the residence, in Kemanggisan, West Jakarta, Wednesday (07.12.11).

“On January 17 there will be a play with Simple Plan. So from the band Simple Plan will have a single opening of the Warner label, and Simple Plan chose us. The process is we send our live action songs similar to them,” added Chua.

Bearers of melodic punk group from Canada, Simple Plan is scheduled to appear two times in Indonesia. Precisely it will be in Jakarta on January 17, 2012 at Istora and January 18, 2012 in Grand City, Surabaya.

Proud to be selected by Simple Plan, Kotak did not know the reason for the election. Collaboration is also being prepared by two bands who take shelter under this umbrella of Warner Music.

“We are really happy, they chose us. There will be collaboration there, but it is still a secret and we do not know why they want to, we do not know, we only got news that Simple Plan wanted us,” said Chua.
