This is the People’s Choice Awards Winners 2012

Katy Perry is a successful singer won five trophies.

Event People’s Choice Awards (PCA) was held again in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, January 11, 2012 local time. Sequel to last ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ successful buy up four awards, including best film category.In addition to the movie ‘Harry Potter’, singer Katy Perry is also a champion in this event by winning five awards, including best female music artist and favourite songs. However, Perry was not present to receive the trophy immediately after cancelling her appearance on the show a few days ago.

Like Perry, the star of ‘Harry Potter’ is also not visible in the event. Another artist who was awarded in this event include actor Johnny Depp for best actor and actress Emma Stone who won the award for favourite comedy actress.

“I moved to LA eight years ago in the same week now with my mother and very crazy can stand here now,” Stone said when receiving the award, as quoted from Reuters page.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Water for Elephants’, starring Robert Pattinson won the award for the category of successful drama play. Unlike the Oscars and Golden Globes, the People’s Choice Awards winners are determined based on the choice of fans.

Radcliffe Almost Misses Harry Potter Role

Daniel Radcliffe’s parents had refused his son play in the movie ‘Harry Potter’.

Harry Potter character is synonymous with the actor Daniel Radcliffe. But do you know if Radcliffe was almost rejected the role of these?

As reported Female First, are the parents was a British actor who had refused offers of ‘Harry Potter’. Radcliffe’s parents argued the child’s life will be disrupted for six filming the sequel to ‘Harry Potter’ will be performed outside the UK.

“My mother and my father just said it was too much to disturb his life (Radcliffe). That would never happen,” said Radcliffe.

However, Radcliffe’s parents changed his mind when the director agreed to undergo two sequels ‘Harry Potter’ in the UK.

“They (parents Radcliffe) saying, okay, we’ll let him audition. And it all started from there,” said Radcliffe.

Now, the role of Harry Potter has catapulted Radcliffe’s name and make it as an actor famous throughout the world. Radcliffe is now at the age of 22 years thanks to the occasion and admitted sometimes hard to deal with fame.

Pottermore.com Delays The Selling Of Harry Potter Ebook

This interactive site will launch a new Harry Potter ebook sales in 2012.

Harry Potter series has ended in seven books written by JK Rowling. Hogwarts witch story is also told in the eighth completed the film, starring Daniel Radcliffe.But Rowling has promised to continue the story of Harry Potter in the 2.0 site, Pottermore.com. Not only that, Pottermore.com also will serve as a place of Harry Potter ebook sales.

But Rowling Pottermore.com delay the launch, which was previously planned for this October. As quoted from the pages of The Guardian, Harry Potter ebook sales launch was delayed until 2012.

Pottermore site explains, the delay caused in Pottermore.com great activity. Although still in beta, visitors reached more than 550 million. Interaction was considered phenomenal. This causes Pottermore feel the need to do some improvements and modifications to accommodate the user in enjoying this interactive site.

The site also mentioned, the game features the Wizard’s Duel become one of the appeal site, but will be closed for repairs. “More popular than we could anticipate,” write the description in Pottermore.com. “We want this to be used by more users before we turn this feature back.”
